Object-Oriented Web Services

While there have been many works in order to address the Web services composition area, none of them has emerged into a standard accepted by the community. In this paper, overviews of current technologies such as WSDL, WSFL, and XLANG are provided, and the authors present an object-oriented approach to Web services composition. An Object-Oriented Web Services (OOWS) framework, its language (OOWSL), and an application server can be used to develop Web services rapidly by reusing from existing ones.
