- The course aims at introducing algebraic language to be
employed in practical areas
such
as computational biology and statistical quality control.
- Classes will be 3 credits, and will
start on Sept 2007.
- Midterm examination: The first three chapters of Lecture
Notes.
The primary reading materials will be book chapters and papers as
described in the syllabus.
