FDSE 2016: Call for papers
AIMS AND SCOPE
The annual International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering (FDSE) is a premier forum designed for researchers and practitioners interested in state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice activities in data, information, knowledge, and security engineering to explore cutting-edge ideas, present and exchange their research results and advanced data-intensive applications, as well as to discuss emerging issues on data, information, knowledge, and security engineering. We invite the submission of both original research contributions and industry papers. At the annual FDSE, the researchers and practitioners will not only be able to share solutions to problems of today's data and security engineering society, but also identify new issues and directions for future related research and development work.
After two successful events, FDSE 2014 and FDSE 2015, which were held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, FDSE 2016 will be held in Can Tho City, Vietnam from November 23-25, 2016. Can Tho City is the biggest city in Mekong delta area of Vietnam. The conference will be held at Can Tho University of Technology (CTUT), which is the first technical-oriented university in this area.
PUBLICATION
All accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag in a volume of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS). The LNCS from Springer is a well-known series of computer science books that covers research and development from all areas of computer science. Further details of the list of forthcoming proceedings that will be published in LNCS can be found at ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/LNCS_FCP.pdf.
Besides DBLP and some other major indexing systems, FDSE Proceedings have also been indexed by Scopus and listed in Conference Proceeding Citation Index (CPCI) of Thomson Reuters.
Selected papers, after further revision and extension, will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Transactions on Large Scale Data and Knowledge Centered Systems (TLDKS), ISSN: 1869-1994, also with Springer Verlag.
